Structural Characteristics
The heat exchanger is manufactured by welding two metal sheets together using laser or resistance welding according to a specific pattern, followed by a hydraulic bulging process. This forms a plate with a concave-convex "pillow"-shaped surface. The flow channel gap between adjacent plates is significantly larger than that of conventional plate heat exchangers (typically 8 mm to over 30 mm), hence the term "wide-channel".
