The pillow plate wide channel heat exchanger is a new-generation heat transfer device. It features a wide channel plate design, with each plate formed by laser welding of two steel sheets in an oxygen free environment and then expanded by pneumatic bulging. The compact construction delivers superior heat transfer performance compared with conventional tubular heat exchangers.

There are no stagnant zones; the medium evenly sweeps the plate surfaces, providing a self‑cleaning effect. For maintenance, cleaning is easily done with steam, instrument air, or compressed air blowing.

The plate design distributes the flow evenly, reducing localised impact and erosion on the plate faces, thus prolonging equipment life.

For the same duty, the pillow-plate exchanger occupies much less floor space than conventional exchangers, making it ideal for space‑constrained installations.
