The Type III Through-Type Spiral Plate Heat Exchanger constructed with Grade 304 stainless steel is a corrosion-resistant heat transfer solution engineered for high-flow industrial processes. Its straight-through channel design enables efficient thermal exchange while withstanding corrosive media including acidic gases, brines, and chemical solutions.

Thermal Stress Management
Thanks to its self-compensating spiral winding, the equipment does not require expansion joints when the temperature difference (ΔT) stays at or below 120°C.
Fouling Resistance
With a surface made of 304 stainless steel (304 SS), it can inhibit scaling. Even after 10,000 hours of operation, it still maintains no less than 85% of its cleanability.
Pressure-Temperature Performance
Its operating temperature range spans from -40°C to 400°C, and it has a maximum design pressure of 2.5 MPa.
Flow Efficiency
It is equipped with asymmetric channels that have a 10:1 flow ratio. When processing high-viscosity fluids (those with a viscosity over 50,000 centipoise, cP), this channel design keeps the fluid velocity at 0.3 m/s or lower.

- Petrochemical Processing: It is used to condense acid gases in alkylation units, specifically for services involving sulfuric acid (H₂SO₄) and hydrofluoric acid (HF).
- Natural Gas Dehydration: It manages glycol-rich fluid streams while achieving a heat recovery efficiency of 95%.
- Pharmaceutical CIP Systems: It complies with ASME BPE standards when applied to the heating and cooling of sterile fluids.
- Marine Exhaust Scrubbing: It has resistance to seawater corrosion, making it suitable for applications focused on removing sulfur oxides (SOx).
Technical Team
Since its founding, Suzhou Ukada Energy Saving Technology Co., Ltd. has maintained a robust technical team. General Lu, who is part of the company's research and development center, has dedicated himself to the design and manufacturing of spiral plate heat exchangers since 1982. He also once held the position of chief engineer at Suhua Machine, amassing rich experience in research and development.
General Lu has successfully carried out the research, development and manufacturing work of spiral plate heat exchangers for a number of national key projects. These projects cover key fields like satellites, submarines and nuclear plants. Besides, he took part in drafting and formulating the national energy industry standard for spiral plate heat exchangers, and this standard was put into effect in 2016. Currently, he works as an engineer at Suzhou Ukada.
